# Demo playground

The Connect API can be tested via the playground — a demo-only version of a backend-to-backend API.<br /><br />In a real-world scenario, these operations must be performed on a secure backend server. The only genuinely frontend part is the manual payment confirmation, which is meant to happen via the Stripe SDK.

Two modes are available:

* Development
* Production
